It’s gotten so bad that maybe, just maybe there’s a tiny backlash. I saw an editor on Twitter this week saying he wouldn’t invoke the Karen shorthand because he’s met so many admirable Karens. (And he didn’t mean me.) Or perhaps the Karen meme will die because it’s become too easy, the cliche of the moment.
