Cubs, Brewers exchange troll Twitter posts during Opening Day matchup - Yahoo Sports

The Cubs and Brewers Twitter accounts have thrown playful jabs at one another the past three seasons while both clubs have been playoff contenders. It only took until early in their first matchup of 2020 for that to continue.

Milwaukee poked fun at how Cubs fans react when fly balls are hit at Wrigley Field. The 200 level's aerial view of some fly balls at Wrigley is blocked by the second deck, and Cubs fans tend to cheer off the crack of the bat when a ball is hit in the air.

Kris Bryant hit a routine fly ball in the video Milwaukee posted, hence the caption.

The Cubs got the last laugh, at least on Friday. Kyle Hendricks threw a complete game shutout in a 3-0 Cubs victory, and they compiled some of the Brewers' 'highlights' in a Tik Tok. Audio from a scene at Wrigley in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" plays over the clips, and the tweet's caption plays off that.

It'll be fun to see how this progresses over the weekend.
