Tackling was a big problem for the Rams on Sunday night, even if it was to be expected after going through an offseason without much hitting and no preseason football. But you know things were bad when it turns into a meme on Twitter.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared a screenshot from Rams-Cowboys, specifically Ezekiel Elliott’s touchdown where he made four defenders miss en route to the end zone. Musk likened the Rams’ would-be tacklers to all the things he has to avoid when “trying to post fire content.”
It was admittedly a funny meme, which got 189.6K likes and 14.8K retweets on Twitter.

The Rams didn’t miss the opportunity to respond to Musk, though.
They tweeted a highlight of Aaron Donald bullying Cowboys offensive linemen on his way to the quarterback, putting a little twist on Musk’s post.

Elliott’s touchdown wasn’t a good look for the Rams defense, but their response to Musk was undeniably funny.
