Indiana pulled off a 36-35 upset over No. 8 Penn State at home when the teams went to overtime. Trailing 28-20 late in the fourth quarter, Indiana mounted a comeback to force overtime and head coach Tom Allen went for it all by going for two and the win in overtime.
The play, a quarterback run by Michael Penix Jr., was as close as it gets as he dove for the pylon. Running back Stevie Scott, in addition to celebrating on the field, celebrated on social media.
Not only did he celebrate, he decided to troll Penn State head coach James Franklin.
Trust me.... I seen all IU slander about this game all WEEK! YOUR APOLOGY NEEDS TO BE AS LOUD AS THE DISRESPECT WAS... #HoosierWin #Relentless #HoosierNation???? !!!!

Scott finished the game with 20 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Penn State came into the game as six point favorites and were picked as a top contender in the Big Ten, along with Big Ten favorite Ohio State.
Franklin regularly tweets out the upcoming opponent for Penn State and Scott took notice to remind everyone that Indiana did in fact win the game.
Penn State took a 28-20 lead with less than two minutes remaining in regulation when Indiana’s defense allowed running back Devyn Ford to walk into the end zone. Indiana responded by going 75 yards in 1:20, scoring on Penix Jr.’s touchdown pass and subsequent two-point conversion.
The Nittany Lions scored on their overtime possession, and Indiana followed suit. But instead of kicking the extra point and extending the game to a second overtime, Indiana went for two and the win.
Penix stretched the ball to the pylon just before touching down, which led to a lengthy review by officials. The initial call of a successful two-point try stood up and Indiana pulled off the stunner.
“You can’t count us out. You look back the last few years, we preached ‘finish,’ but we didn’t finish the way we wanted the past few years … The guys made plays,” Penix said after the game. “That’s one thing we did today, make sure we finished.”
Allen was equally elated in his postgame comments.
“We’ve been close, and I’m sick and tired of being close,” Allen said.
Franklin, however, refused to pin the loss on one single play when discussing Ford's touchdown.
"I think the hard part here is that there were a lot of plays throughout that game that we would have liked to have been different," Franklin said. "And I know, in some ways, probably people look at that one play, but there are a lot of plays throughout the game that we should have done differently, and we could have handled better, and could have made plays. So it's my job as the head coach to make sure everybody clearly understands those situations and obviously right there that didn't happen."
