Hello my fellow singletons!!!
As someone whose been single and not quite ready to mingle the entire pandemic, I feel the pros (not having another person all up in your space!) and the cons (not having another person all up in your space) of flying solo this past year. So here are just a few tweets that made me chuckle:

dating during a pandemic really has us going on walks for dates like its the 1800s. like ok mr darcy, take me on a stroll around your estate and tell me about my place as a woman 😍

in the future all you’ll have to ask on a first date is “did you wear a mask during the pandemic” and it’ll tell you everything you need to know about them like are they smart? do they believe in science? do they care about other people?

My best friend who has only dated girls since we were teens said after pandemic she wants to date a guy and I told her that yes, one of the side effects of covid is loss of taste.

Girls will be like “oh you’re dating during the pandemic? I stay home and have sex with my long-term serious boyfriend who loves me because I actually care about other people lol”

Can we discuss dating during a pandemic? I already hated modern dating with all the apps. Can we go back to a simpler time? I don’t need some kind of romcom meet-cute. I’d settle for being set up. Or even better maybe a male suitor could offer my dad goats in exchange for my hand
Anyway, off I go to have a nice romantic night by myself.
