The Candice Died Today joke explained
On TikTok, users have been asking their friends and family if they know about “Candice”, or what happened to her.
The conversation will go a little bit like this:
“OMG, did you see that Candice died today?”
“Candice who?”
“Candice d*ck fit in yo mouth!”
However, plenty of the videos which feature the joke, cut out before delivering the punchline, which has made it somewhat of an inside joke on TikTok.
In the videos, the comment section is often flooded with people asking who Candice is, and what the joke is. So, if someone asks you who Candice is, don’t reply, and especially don’t respond with “Candice who?”
What is the Ligma joke?
Another equally inappropriate internet joke is the one containing the word “ligma.”
The premise is the same… you ask someone if they have heard of “ligma” or say something like: “I’ve just come down with a case of ligma.”
Your friend will reply with: “What’s ligma?”
To which you will respond: “Ligma balls!”
In this case, you can see that the word “ligma” is meant to sound like “lick my.”
Dictionary.com explains: “Ligma spread as a joke in May 2018. It’s based on other jokes that feature an unusual word that sets a person up for a silly, often vulgar punchline, e.g., updog or deez nuts.”
What is the DN joke?
You may also have heard about the “DN” joke, which goes a little something like this:
You: “OMG I’ve just found out that I have a serious case of DN”
Your friend: “What’s DN?”
You: “Deez nuts!”
Dictionary.com explains: “Deez nuts is an expression used to deliberately interrupt or divert a conversation. It is not a literal reference to testicles; rather it is used figuratively to disrupt and show disrespect to whatever discussion is currently occurring.”
