Getting recognised by fans in public can be a great experience for actors, meeting the people on the other side of the screen and see the impact their work has made.
But when that impact is one annoying joke, the whole experience can quickly turn sour, like for Kaley Cuoco who has recently revealed which joke from The Big Bang Theory fans always reference when meeting her.

During The Hollywood Reporter's annual Comedy Actress Roundtable, the actress described the experience of fans walking up to her saying: "I get a lot of people knocking at me.
"They'll 'knock, knock, knock, Penny, knock, knock, knock, Penny,' multiple times," said Cuoco, referencing Jim Parsons's character Sheldon's obsessive three-time knock from the show.
"In a store, on a plane, on my body, they love to knock at me, and they think it's very funny," she went on to say, laughing it off.
Though we are sure it's not fun being knocked at by strangers.

In addition to her extremely successful new show The Flight Attendant, which is soon to return for a second season, Cuoco was recently cast in an upcoming romantic comedy opposite SNL and The Suicide Squad star Pete Davidson.
The pair are set to star together in Meet Cute, which is billed as a "wildly inventive deconstruction of the romantic comedy".
Directed by Alex Lehmann, the film will be based around the premise of being able to travel through time and heal a prospective partner's past trauma and problems in order to create the perfect match.
Cuoco is lined up to play a character called Sheila in the movie, while Davidson takes on a character named Gary. Other cast members have yet to be revealed.
The Big Bang Theory aired on CBS in the US. You can buy the complete boxset now on DVD and Blu-ray.
