On Sunday night football during a matchup between the Chicago Bears and the New Orleans Saints, fans were treated to an unusual brawl. The context behind the fight was perplexing as there seemed to be nothing out of the ordinary. Bear’s Javon Wims was the instigator of the fight.
The brawl occurred during the third quarter of the Bears and Saints game. The game was tied at 13 and the Bears had possession and had first and 10. It was at the conclusion of a passing play by Chicago when the fight happened.
Bears player Javon Wims walked up to a guy on the Saints and started throwing punches seemingly unprovoked. I’ve never seen anything like this in the NFL.
He shouldn’t worry about being suspended. He should worry if he will ever play again. pic.twitter.com/s43yLc0eJ7

In the video, we could see Wims calmly approaching Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and tap his shoulder. As Johnson turned around, we see Wims throw a punch at him. However, Johnson is unfazed by the punch as he just stands there perplexed. There seemed to be no reason behind it, but Wims throws another punch. The punches were not as effective as Johnson continued to look unfazed.
Twitter took notice of this brawl and proceeded to make memes of this random fight. With different people putting their own funny captions for the brawl.

The reasoning behind Wims’s decision to punch Johnson is unknown. Earlier it was reported that Wims has been suspended for two games.
