An earthquake shook portions of California on Wednesday morning, prompting jokes on social media that it was caused by residents celebrating former President Trump

The quake, which was measured at 3.5 on the richter scale, was felt in portions of Los Angeles and Southern California.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake, which measured nearly 12-miles deep, struck in Willowbrook, Calif., about 13 miles south of L.A., according to the Sacramento Bee.
